The short version
- We collect no personal data. The game has no accounts, no ads, no purchases and no chat.
- It never asks for your name, email address or phone number, and it doesn't read your contacts, photos, files, camera, microphone or location.
- It has no analytics and no advertising software, and sends nothing about you or your play to us or to anyone else.
- Your progress and settings stay on your phone.
Who we are
Sloshlings is a tilt puzzle game, the sequel to Slosh, developed by IscoviciLabs (iscovici.com). This policy covers the Sloshlings app for Android, now in closed testing on Google Play, and this page.
What we collect
Nothing. This version of the game sends no information about you, your phone or your play to us or to any other company. It contains no analytics, no advertising and no social-media software. Everything the game needs (its art, sounds and font) is packed inside the app, so playing it makes no requests over the internet.
What stays on your phone
The game saves your progress on your phone, in the app's own storage: the levels you have played and their stars, your Album of Sloshlings, your best Endless scores, which one-time hints you have already seen, and your settings (sound, music, vibration, reduced motion, landing preview and tilt the phone). None of it is uploaded or synced by the game, and we never see it.
If you choose Tilt the phone in Settings, the game reads your phone's motion sensor to tilt the jar. Those readings are used on the phone, at the moment you play, and are never stored or sent.
If your phone backs up its apps to your Google account, Android may include the game's saved progress in that backup. That backup is Google's service, under Google's privacy policy, and we have no access to it.
Deleting your data
Because everything stays on your phone, you are in control of it. Uninstalling the game deletes everything it saved. To start over without uninstalling, open your phone's Settings → Apps → Sloshlings → Storage and tap Clear storage (the exact names vary a little between phones). We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to delete.
Permissions
- Vibration, for the short buzzes the game gives as you play. You can turn them off in Settings → Vibration.
- Internet, the standard permission included in apps built this way. This version does not use it to send anything: everything the game needs ships inside the app.
The game asks for no other permission.
Google Play
Google Play handles downloads, updates, the closed test and any reviews or feedback you send through it, under the Google Privacy Policy. We receive only what Google Play gives every developer: aggregated install statistics and, from phones set to share them, crash and performance reports.
Children
Sloshlings is made for players aged 13 and up and is not directed at children under 13. We collect no personal data from anyone, of any age.
This page
This page uses no cookies, scripts or analytics, and loads nothing from another site. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes IP addresses to deliver and protect it.
If you write to us
If you email us, we use your message and your email address only to answer you, and we don't share them with anyone.
Changes
A future version of the game may add anonymous, aggregated counting of how the game is used (for example, how many players finish a level), so we can see whether it works and what to improve. If it does, this page will say exactly what is counted and who handles it before that version is released, and the date above will change.
